Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 1, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide during registration (name, email, phone, social media handles, country, studio name, and website). We also collect usage data such as pages visited, campaign interactions, IP addresses, browser type, and device information. For payment purposes, we process transaction data through PayPal — we do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) operate and maintain the Platform; (b) process payments and payouts; (c) verify creator identities and video analytics; (d) communicate important updates, such as campaign approvals or payout notifications; (e) improve our services and detect fraud; (f) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following cases: (a) with developers when you apply to their campaigns (display name, socials, and content submissions); (b) with payment processors (PayPal) to facilitate transactions; (c) with analytics providers (Apify) to verify video view counts; (d) when required by law or to protect our rights. Creator contact information (email, phone) is never shared with developers.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes, which are retained for 7 years). Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Authentication cookies (studio_id, creator_id) are used to maintain your logged-in state and are httpOnly and secure.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including: encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords (bcrypt), secure database hosting with encrypted connections (Neon PostgreSQL with SSL), and access controls for internal systems. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate information via your profile settings; (c) request deletion of your account and data; (d) export your data in a portable format; (e) withdraw consent for non-essential data processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@viralblox.network.

8. International Transfers

ViralBlox operates globally. Your data may be processed in the United States (where our hosting infrastructure is located) and other jurisdictions. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations, where data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction.

9. Children's Privacy

ViralBlox is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental consent.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Platform integrates with third-party services including PayPal (payments), Apify (analytics), and Resend (email). These services have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle your data. We encourage you to review their policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
